Véritable expérience musicosensorielle, cette première soirée de l'été sous la Tente du Festival de Gstaad emprunte comme fil rouge la rencontre Nord-Sud entre les Saisons baroques de Vivaldi et les Estaciones argentine d'Astor Piazzolla, et met en valeur ce faisant la nouvelle génération de cordes incarnée par les LGT Young Soloists, un ensemble d'élite fondé en 2013 par le prodige allemand Alexander Gilman, disciple de Dorothy DeLay et Zakhar Bron. En ouverture de programme: des musiques de films au fort pouvoir d'évocation, à l'image du mouvement symphonique composé en 2022 par le multi-instrumentiste Devonté Hynes pour le court-métrage Naked Blue de Mati Diop et Manon Lutanie, mettant en scène l'histoire d'une jeune ballerine de treize ans, arrangé spécialement par Paul Bateman.
