Conducting Academy | Concert II ID:
Orchestra
Thursday, 06. August 2026
5:30 p.m., Gstaad Festival Tent
Back from their first days of lessons in Biel, the ten students of the Conducting Academy are shifting into high gear as they present their debut concert in the Gstaad Festival Tent – a vibrant reflection of an intensive opening week shaped under the inspiring guidance of Jaap van Zweden and Peter Biloen. Our distinguished guest soloist in Mozart’s Fifth Violin Concerto is Vlad Stănculeasa, the Gstaad Festival Orchestra’s loyal leader over a period of many years.
